### Position HSE TrainerProject Kungrad Project
- Karakalpakstan, UzbekistanDepartment Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)Reports To HSE Manager / Project HSE ManagerLocation Nukus (Project Site)Job PurposeThe HSE Trainer is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and delivering all Health, Safety and Environmental training programs for employees, subcontractors and visitors to ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, client specifications, Uzbekistan legislation and international standards.The role is responsible for promoting a proactive safety culture through competency development, awareness campaigns and continuous improvement of workforce safety performance.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining ManagementDevelop annual and monthly HSE Training Plans.Prepare project Training Matrix for all categories of employees.Conduct HSE Induction for all new employees, visitors and subcontractors.Deliver mandatory HSE training as per project requirements.Conduct refresher training programs.Conduct supervisor competency training.

Working at HeightConfined Space EntryPermit to WorkLOTOFire Prevention & Fire FightingManual HandlingExcavation SafetyLifting OperationsScaffold SafetyElectrical SafetyDefensive Driving AwarenessPPE ManagementEnvironmental AwarenessEmergency ResponseHeat Stress PreventionTraining Material DevelopmentDevelop PowerPoint presentations.Prepare bilingual training materials (English/Russian/Uzbek as required).Prepare videos, posters, toolbox talk materials and awareness campaigns.Update training materials according to project changes and lessons learned.Competency AssessmentConduct written and practical evaluations.Assess employee competency.Recommend retraining where required.Maintain competency records.Safety AwarenessOrganize HSE campaigns.Coordinate Safety Day activities.Conduct weekly safety awareness sessions.Promote behavioural safety initiatives.Support HSE culture improvement programs.Records & ReportingMaintain training attendance records.Update training database.Maintain training certificates.Prepare weekly and monthly training reports.Track mandatory training expiry dates.

ComplianceEnsure compliance with: Client HSE requirementsUzbekistan Labour & OHS RegulationsISO 45001ISO 14001Company HSE Management SystemProject HSE PlanSupport FunctionsParticipate in incident investigations.Assist during audits.Conduct site observations.Recommend improvements based on training needs analysis.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline.NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)IOSH Managing Safely / Train the Trainer (Preferred)OSHA 30 Hour (Preferred)Certified First Aid Trainer (Preferred)Fire Safety Trainer Certification (Preferred)ExperienceMinimum
- 5 years of HSE Training experience.Minimum
- 3 years on EPC/Industrial/Construction Projects.Experience in multinational projects.Experience in renewable energy, oil & gas, infrastructure or heavy civil projects preferred.SkillsAdult learning techniquesExcellent presentation skillsPublic speakingReport writingMS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)HSE Management SystemsIncident investigation awarenessGood interpersonal communicationLanguagesEnglish
