[Apply on Larsen & Toubro’s careers site →](https://larsentoubrocareers.peoplestrong.com/job/detail/LNT_M-G-C_1882271) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Larsen & Toubro](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/larsen-toubro/) / Manager - Navigation, Guidance & Control (Autonomous Systems) ## Job description Manager / Senior Manager – Navigation, Guidance & Control (Autonomous Marine Systems)Responsible for the design, development, integration and validation ofNavigation, Guidance & Control (NGC) systems for autonomous underwater and un-crewed marine platformsThe role shall develop robust navigation and state-estimation solutions using INS/IMU/DVL/GNSS/depth and other onboard sensors, including sensor fusion, dead-reckoning and GPS-denied navigation.Develop and validateguidance, waypoint/path-following and vehicle-control algorithms, including PID/adaptive control, control-surface/thruster allocation, actuator command generation and degraded-mode behaviour. Support integration of navigation,autonomy, platform-control and mission-management software with onboard sensors, actuators and vehicle systems.Develop and utilisephysics-based vehicle models, simulation, SIL/HIL and data-replay environmentsfor algorithm development,tuning, verification and validation prior to vehicle deployment. Plan and support laboratory, harbour and sea trials; analyse vehicle performance and recorded data; identify root causes and progressively improve navigation and control performance.Work closely with Systems Engineering, Software, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical/Hydrodynamics, Payload and Integration teams to define system requirements, interfaces, operating behaviours and verification criteria.
