The ideal candidate will have system administration expertise in Amazon Web Service (AWS) core services, managing and optimizing Linux systems, as well as infrastructure automation. This role requires a hands-on professional with a robust understanding of security and risk management, and system monitoring. The candidate must have a proven track record of designing and implementing solutions that comply with security policies, maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment. ### Essential Functions Administer, support, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as: EC2 S3 IAM VPC RDS CloudWatch Lambda Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using tools such as: CloudFormation Terraform Ansible Installation of monitoring agents, STIGing, and Hardening AWS AMIs Monitor system performance and resource usage, identify potential problems, and implement solutions to maintain system resilience and security. ### Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. ### Clearance Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Required Professional Certifications: CCNA- Security, Security+ CE, or higher certification Preferred Additional Skills: Experience working with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks. Experience utilizing virtualization technologies and backup solutions. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $92,500-$171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
