This role involves general opportunities for problem-solving and innovation, which may require an understanding of a broader set of issues but typically are not complex. Solutions are often derived from prior experiences and involve analysis of the issues. ### Essential Functions - Utilize proficient knowledge of the job area and practical knowledge of project management - Manage projects or processes with general supervision - Communicate with contacts inside and outside of the department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures - Recommend enhancements to systems and processes - Work to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results - Operate under general supervision and may be responsible for entire projects or processes within the job area - Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area - Manage projects at this level with responsibility for delegating work and reviewing others' work products Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum - 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. ### Preferred Additional Skills Effective communication with contacts within and outside of own department May occasionally have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.) - Ability to explain and interpret processes and procedures to others within and outside the job area Capable of working to justify and gain cooperation regarding processes, practices, and procedures - Proficient knowledge of the job area Practical knowledge of project management is a plus Extensive knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and expected to be an engineer with direct on-floor experience and a hands-on approach to processes and operations #LI-QN1 L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
