With customers’ mission-critical needs always in mind, our employees deliver end-to-end technology solutions connecting the space, air, land, sea and cyber domains in the interest of national security. ### Job Title Senior Supervisor, Aircraft Maintenance (2nd Shift – SkyRaider II) ### Job Code 46685 Job Location: Waco, TX (Onsite) ### Job Schedule 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week Job Description: The Senior Supervisor, Aircraft Maintenance role directs the development and implementation of activities in production to meet goals for quality, cost, and efficiency; manages operations including manufacturing, planning, engineering, testing, quality, and logistics; oversees procedures, budgets, capital expenditures, and labor; and ensures compliance with legal and safety standards, with a strong emphasis on aircraft inspection, repairs, installations and modifications. ### Essential Functions Engage in the development of their team’s aircraft schedules and metrics. Build a strong understanding of metric data to support sound operational decision-making. Possess the ability to review aircraft technical information and manage the execution of technical tasks to ensure safety, accuracy, quality, and adherence to budgetary and staffing requirements. Provide direction and coordination of all manufacturing operations. Contribute to the establishment and adherence to operational policies and procedures. Achieve company goals for production/sales in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner. Assist in the planning and staffing of Manufacturing Operations. Assist in efforts to maintain a clean, safe environment for all employees. Represent Manufacturing Operations in meetings, both internal and external. Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA standards and all legal requirements. Support manufacturing initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, SPC, CPI, AS9100).Comply with and enforce L-3 policies and Ethics codes. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders. Review existing and potential equipment requirements for manufacturing. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including overtime to meet business requirements. Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance. ### Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior aircraft maintenance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior aircraft maintenance experience. Minimum 2 years experience leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics, and employees within a team. ### Preferred Additional Skills Experience on AT-802 and or OA-1K Skyraider II platform, preferably with a focus on complex mechanical and avionics systems. Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical installations and modifications. Experience with project management metrics like Earned Value Management methodology that measures the progress and performance of a project. Proficiency with electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and wiring diagrams. Proven experience in making sound decisions under pressure. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans. Strong commitment to ethical practices and integrity. Effective problem-solving capabilities with a track record of implementing solutions. Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and resilience in overcoming obstacles. Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve high performance. Experience in delegating tasks appropriately and empowering team members. Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for team and project outcomes. Skilled in managing and resolving conflicts within a team. Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
