In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace. Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customers. ### How you create impact - Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies - Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members - Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) - Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors - Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time - Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory - Implement continuous improvement action plans Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed What we would like you to bring High school diploma or equivalent - 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment 2 or more years in a supervisory role At least - 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) What's in it for you At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
