[Apply on Kraft Heinz Company’s careers site →](https://jobs.kraftheinz.com/careers/job/1970324837503184) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Kraft Heinz Company](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/kraft-heinz-company/) / Refrigeration Technician ## Job description Participate/support the RMP (Risk Management Process) and assist in the development of the system and operational standards and corrective actions. - Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices - Work within the scope of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program and compliance - Evaluate and discuss changes with the Facility Utilities Supervisor and implement changes as needed ### Training and Safety - Provide a safe and healthful work environment for all personnel through consistent support of the company's Heinz Safety Process. Oversee safety processes including, but not limited to, goal setting, hazard recognition, and elimination, administration of safety procedures and corresponding corrective action, area inspection, job skills, and compliance training, accident investigation and safety meetings. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces policies and safety regulations. Must be able to work flexible hours; days, afternoons, midnights, overtime and weekends as necessary. As necessary, other duties and/or projects may be assigned. Two-year degree or certificate from college or technical school or at least 5-7 years' school and experience combined in dedicated industrial Utilities Maintenance, Ammonia Refrigeration, Boilers, Waste Water, and Air Compressors principles in a manufacturing environment. Electrical power distribution Ammonia Refrigeration experience highly desirable- HC HVAC at a minimum. Compressed air Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Ability to use hands/arms to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Ability to work in all areas of the facility including hot and cold areas, and be exposed to wet and humid conditions. Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs or more. Must have excellent vision, distant and peripheral, with the ability to identify and distinguish colors, and adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually high, and ear protection is required.
