[Apply on Kraft Heinz Company’s careers site →](https://jobs.kraftheinz.com/careers/job/1970324837518670) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Kraft Heinz Company](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/kraft-heinz-company/) / Material Planner ## Job description ### Summary Statement: This position has the principal responsibility for ordering, maintaining proper control and reporting of ingredient and packaging supplies for the respective Business units through execution, collaboration, innovation, and people/team development - Utilize SAP system to order supplies, ingredients, and KMI's for multiple Businesses. - Set up and maintain MRP system production models and ordering parameters. - Manage portion of $18 MM. average RPW inventory to meet or exceed monthly inventory turn targets. - Research, explain, and reduce material outages in support of CTS. - Manage appropriate inventory levels internally and externally to balance inventory and service. - Provide absentee coverage for other Material Planners. - Support multiple Businesses through collaboration with R&D and Production departments for projects, productivity initiatives, and commercialization's. - Partner with HQMM and Procurement on collaboration strategies and issue resolution. - Collaborate with Cycle Count group and Production to research and reduce cycle count variances. - Reduce Company costs through flawless execution of material and ingredient changes. - Develop and implement processes or projects to reduce RPW inventories. - Execute Material Management goals. ### Organizational Relationships - Plant production, maintenance, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, finance, human resources, training and distribution. Headquarters supply chain, logistics, purchasing, customer service, distribution, R & D, Other Kraft Heinz Locations as necessary to support the business needs. 1. 2.
