Discover your potential. ### JOB DESCRIPTION Intern, Warehouse Optimization ### Position Summary The Warehouse Optimization Intern will support initiatives focused on improving warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, material flow, and overall operational performance. This role provides hands-on experience in analyzing warehouse processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing lean and continuous improvement solutions within a manufacturing environment. ### Key Responsibilities Observe and document warehouse processes, workflows, and material movement. Collect and analyze operational data related to inventory, picking, receiving, shipping, and storage activities. Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to increase productivity and accuracy. Support warehouse layout optimization and organization initiatives. Assist with inventory accuracy audits and cycle count activities. Create reports, process maps, and visual management tools to track performance metrics. Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects. Collaborate with warehouse, production, supply chain, and engineering teams to support operational goals. ### Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Interest in warehouse operations, process improvement, and data analysis. ### Preferred Skills Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles. Experience with data visualization or process mapping tools is a plus.
