Responsible for efficiently planning, monitoring and tracking all production and shipping activities at the facility. ### What You Will Do Essential duties and responsibilities: - Meet monthly inventory targets by reviewing at risk inventory (blocked, expiring, failed), and safety stock. Work with management team to ensure disposition of material is followed through. - Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimal delays. - Responsible for reviewing data in SAP to ensure data integrity. - Responsible for the development and presentation of production/shipping schedules on a weekly basis by planning, scheduling and managing movement of materials through the production schedule (2 weeks out). - Maintains integrity and validity of business systems by ensuring appropriate use of planning tools in SAP. - Assist in monthly inventory reconciliations and be able to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory. - Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials required to cover product demand. - Prepare and submit status/performance reports (Key Performance Indicators). - Other duties as assigned. ### What You Need Minimum requirements Education: - Bachelor's degree or 3+ years equivalent work experience. ### Experience / specific knowledge - Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers. - Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor ion, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules. - Must be able to create reports using the Internet, Email, Microsoft Programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and SAP. - Previous experience with SAP Certifications, licenses, registrations: - Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential). ### Competencies, skills, and abilities - Must have basic math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. - Must have ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. - Must be willing to perform warehouse and office work. ### Physical demands - Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. - Must be able to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. ### Working conditions - Must be willing and able to work in a corporate office and field environment. - Must be willing and able to carry a cell phone and respond as needed. - Extended periods of sitting may be required for administrative activities. ### Supervisory responsibility - None Preferred education, experience, certifications, competencies, skills, and abilities: Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position: - Previous experience in a bulk handling facility. - Previous experience with a database or inventory control system.
