### What We Are Looking For

BOLT INTERN PROGRAM The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. Interns gain hands-on experience in the energy industry while developing professional and interpersonal skills through meaningful projects that support Kinder Morgan’s vision of delivering energy to improve lives and create a better world. KINDER MORGAN Kinder Morgan is one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America.

We own an interest in or operate approximately 83,000 miles of pipelines and 147 terminals. Our pipelines transport natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, carbon dioxide (CO2) and more. Our terminals store and handle petroleum products, chemicals and other products. We are a market leader in each of our businesses: Natural Gas Pipelines, Products Pipelines, CO2 and Terminals. Our diversified and strategically located assets are core to North American energy infrastructure and help deliver needed energy products to high-demand markets.

### BUSINESS UNIT

This Houston-based internship will support business-unit operations and administrative functions. It is not an engineering internship.

### What You Will Do

POSITION DESCRIPTION The intern will work with Products Pipelines leaders and subject-matter experts on practical projects that improve business visibility, organize asset information, strengthen process consistency and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.

Assignments may include: KPI development and reporting: help define, organize and improve key performance indicators, supporting data and recurring management reporting.

### Physical asset information

gather, validate and organize detailed information about pipeline, terminal and related operational assets from available records and subject-matter experts.

### Data organization and visualization

consolidate information into clear, usable formats such as trackers, dashboards, summaries and reference materials.

### AI-enabled process support

explore and develop practical AI-assisted tools that bring together procedures, processes and other approved business information for easier retrieval and use.

### Process evaluation

map current workflows, identify duplication, delays, manual handoffs or inconsistent practices, and recommend practical efficiency improvements.

### Cross-functional support

coordinate with Operations and business support teams to collect information, document requirements and communicate findings.

### Project documentation

prepare concise presentations, written summaries, process maps and recommendations for business-unit leadership. What You Need
