## Job description

### Job Description

As an Engineer and Team Leader at Kia India, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects and leading a team of operators to ensure the successful execution of design, development, and production processes. Your role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all engineering activities align with company standards and objectives. You will be tasked with solving complex engineering problems, implementing improvements, and driving innovation within the team.

Furthermore, you will be expected to mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in engineering principles and methodologies.

### Key Responsibilities

Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and timeliness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve product performance and manufacturing efficiency. Conduct regular team meetings to track progress, allocate resources, and address challenges. Mentor and guide team members in technical skills and career development.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all engineering practices. Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to management. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance product development.
