Role reports to: Manager, Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting Location: Asia Pacific, Philippines, Metro Manila, Taguig Work Location: Hybrid What you will do The Lease Accounting Senior Team Lead is part of global Finance Operations team, and you will have exclusive access to a network of financial professionals worldwide, helping you build on your current skills and explore opportunities to grow your career. Together, we will reimagine business processes to become more effective, more efficient, and improve the customer experience. The Lease Accounting Senior Team Lead is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial analysis, auditing financial planning processes, and presenting complex reports to management. You will collaborate with business partners, monitor expenses and capital budgeting, and support budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.

This role reports to the Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting Manager and can be based in Manila, Philippines or in Bangalore, India.

### Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and mentoring of the Global lease accounting team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
- Develop and implement advanced lease accounting policies and frameworks in compliance with relevant accounting standards, streamlining compliance and reporting processes.
- Analyze complex lease portfolios and conduct detailed financial analysis and audits to identify optimization opportunities and support strategic financial decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, IT, and other teams to integrate lease accounting solutions with enterprise systems and support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Develop innovative reporting tools, dashboards, and regular financial reports that provide real-time insights into lease liabilities, asset management, and department expenses.
- Oversee the monthly closing process, monitor and control department expenses and capital budgeting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Present complex financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging emerging technologies and regulatory updates in lease accounting.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparent and accurate lease disclosures. What we are looking for

### Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in lease accounting or related financial analysis roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex financial modeling and audits
- In-depth knowledge of lease accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders

### Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
- Proven expertise in ASC 842, IFRS 16, and GASB 87 standards, with the ability to interpret and apply evolving regulations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and driving process improvements
- Advanced proficiency in lease accounting software and ERP systems, coupled with strong data analytics capabilities (CoStar, Fleet Platform and ERPs)
- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation processes
