As our Software Engineer, you would have the following responsibilities: - You will design, build, and maintain reusable software components, libraries, and frameworks used across multiple teams; - You will develop and enhance platforms that enable Data Engineers and other technical teams to deliver solutions efficiently; - You will support and maintain cloud-based environments and applications, including KBC's strategic data and analytics platforms; - You will contribute to AI-related initiatives by creating solutions, standards, and guardrails that help teams use AI technologies responsibly and effectively; - You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to design scalable and sustainable solutions; - You will help ensure compliance, security, and governance requirements are embedded into the solutions you develop; - You will participate in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and software products. ### Working experience with the following technologies - Python, AWS, Spark, Pandas, GitHub, CI/CD and Cloud Development tools; - Experience developing software solutions in cloud environments; - Ability to understand the broader technical landscape and translate requirements into scalable solutions. ### You are a perfect fit for us if - You are eager to learn and have an open mind towards new technologies, processes, and ways of working; - You can take ownership and proactively drive solutions from concept to implementation; - You are a team player who enjoys collaborating across different teams and domains; - You can work in English, both written and spoken, in an international environment; - You can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; - You are capable of presenting new features, products, and technical solutions to various audiences; - You have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; - And above all, you have a lot of common sense. A significant advantage would be to have: - Knowledge of AI technologies and AI-assisted development tools; - Experience with Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, MLOps practices, and cloud infrastructure management; - Experience working with metadata management solutions and large-scale data platforms; - Familiarity with software governance, compliance, and security practices within cloud environments.
