## Job description

This role, based in Hong Kong, belongs to Client Documentation Services (CDS) – Central Screening Unit under the COO division and has below job functions.
- Review client’s name screening results
- Promptly escalate all potential or true hits for further review and investigations
- Perform basic due diligence and background check on adverse findings
- Liaise with Front Office for additional information when required
- Complete name screening tasks according to the bank’s screening standards and timelines YOUR CHALLENGE
- Review client’s name screening results generated by the name screening solutions and perform first level risk assessment assessments on name hits
- Ensure review and disposition of hits are adequately documented and cleared / escalated within the required timeline
- Request further information from Front office, escalate potential or true hits identified to respective stakeholders
- Guide Front Office on name screening process where appropriate
- Provide ad hoc or administrative support as required by Team Head or Department Head YOUR PROFILE P er son al a n d S o c i al
- Hard working, responsible and able to work overtime if required
- Meticulous and accurate in executing work assigned
- Able to work under pressure and consistently meet work timelines
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Able to work independently as well as be a strong team player
- Strong communication skills needed to coordinate with internal business partners P r o f e ssi o n al a n d T e c hni c a l
- Degree holder or minimum of 2 years of related banking working experience
- Have basic knowledge in AML due diligence
- Have basic knowledge of regulatory guidelines
- Prior experience on handling screening hit disposition would be an advantage
- Good MS Office software knowledge, Outlook, Excel, Word. Python computer knowledge would be an advantage
- Good command of both written and verbal in English and excellent command of Chinese language ability
