### Title

Sr Production Supervisor III - Ramos Primary Location: Ramos Function: Operations (CA) John Deere is a foremost leader in the ag equipment business, and we continue to put a solid stamp on other industries. For over 185 years, the company’s portfolio of groundbreaking products has grown to include industries related to and outside of agriculture, including Turf, Construction and Forestry and Wind Technologies. ### Note

### Main Responsibilites
- Lead daily production operations to ensure the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives for the assigned production area.
- Communicate plant and business objectives to the team, establish clear expectations, and drive execution through effective performance management and accountability.
- Supervise, coach, and develop hourly employees, fostering a high-performance culture focused on engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Plan and assign workforce schedules, staffing, and resources to meet customer demand while optimizing labor efficiency and operational performance.
- Monitor production performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to ensure the timely achievement of production targets.
- Drive adherence to quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and customer requirements, ensuring product conformity and reducing defects.
- Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Analyze production data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop action plans to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other support teams to ensure operational continuity and business success.
- Prepare and communicate production reports, performance updates, and improvement plans to plant leadership.
- Support employee development processes, including training, performance evaluations, succession planning, and talent growth initiatives.

- Experience applying DMAIC, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Data analytics expertise, including KPI analysis and performance reporting.
- Ability to drive business results through data-based decision making.

### Education

Bachelor's degree: Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechalical Engineering or related. This position will be posted for a minimum of 10 business days and unposted when a qualified pool of candidates is achieved. Candidates must have the necessary work permits to work in the country.
