RIGHT NOW. ### Title Software Engineer - Torreón Primary Location: TORREÓN Function: Technology (CA) John Deere is a foremost leader in the ag equipment business, and we continue to put a solid stamp on other industries. The product line alone serves as proof with advances in machine performance, equipment automation, fleet management, and John Deere’s ongoing investment in emerging markets. ### Note All candidates should have their tax situation certificate (Constancia de Siituación Fiscal) up to date with the salary regime to be eligible for the hiring process. ### Main Responsibilites - Plans, coordinates, performs product design, testing and/or analysis work for a complete project of moderate scope or for a significant portion or a sub-system of a major and diverse project. - Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. - May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to support personnel. - Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors. ### What Skills You Need - Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions. - Fluent in verbal and written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact and negotiation. - Ability to apply engineering principles and concepts for designs. - Ability to manage competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment. - Proficient in cloud technologies, CI/CD processes, understanding API design and authentication - Hands-on working knowledge of modern web application development. - Knowledge in microservices, micro-front ends, event driven architecture, relational databases. ### What Makes You Stand Out - Passionate, creative and desire to learn and implement new complex technical solutions. - Accountable, curious, and collaborative with an intense focus on product quality. - AWS certification or working experience in AWS cloud or other cloud technologies. - AI / ML experience (Agentic AI, Supervised / Unsupervised ML models). ### Bachelor's Degree - System Engineering or related.
