John Deere is an equal opportunity employer, including disabled & veterans. ### Primary Location United States (US) - Iowa ### Ankeny Function - Environment, Health, Safety (CA) ### Title 2027 Intern ### Environmental Engineer - 123027 Onsite/Remote - Onsite Position ### Your Responsibilities As part of John Deere's Environmental team, you will assist with the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Environmental Programs that impact a manufacturing facility and support the environmental compliance aspects of the factory. ### Some examples of activities that can be performed - Execute facility inspections to review compliance with environmental regulations and EMS requirements ### Take ownership of environmental program - stormwater, chemical management, wastewater, waste, etc. - Explore and implement waste, energy or water reduction projects - Explore and implement environmental risk reduction projects - Develop Power BI Dashboard or Power Apps US Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. ### What Skills You Need - Basic knowledge of engineering statistics and introductory knowledge of environmental regulations Must able to relocate domestically. Assignments can be at various locations throughout the United States. Location could be: Moline, IL; Des Moines, IA; Horicon, WI; Waterloo, IA ### What Makes You Stand Out - Project Management Experience - Data Analysis Knowledge - Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or related tools - Good Communication Skills ### Education - Bachelors or Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering or related major - Minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale Deere is interested in hiring talented people quickly.
