## Job description

Jefferies Equity Research is seeking a senior research associate to join our Building Products and Paper & Packaging Team. The candidate will support a Senior Analyst and will be part of a team that conducts extensive industry, company and macroeconomic analysis.

### Responsibilities

Senior Associate will work with the Senior Analyst on: Modeling financial statements and conducting fundamental research Writing actionable research reports on public companies Following and analyzing industry trends Maintaining relationships with company and industry contacts Interacting with Sales and buy-side clients QualificationsRequired Good Financial modeling skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of finance and accounting
- Excellent analytical ability
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable development and maintenance of relationships with team members, buy-side clients and corporate contacts Team oriented, motivated individual Preferred 3-6 years of work experience in an analytical field like equity research (industrials / consumer background preferred), accounting, banking, consulting, and corporate finance.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135,000 - $165,000.
