Duties may include, and are not limited to, the following: frequent contact with customer employees and contact with the motoring public at fuel stations and rest stops. ### Position Details Driver's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Movement between buildings and any yard movements required by customer shipping and receiving during shift Driver will move between the yards on 50th/Ayers/Malburg/Fruitland Keep yards clear from congestion. Yard checks must be done within the first 4 hours of the driver's shift Communicate with JBHT Dispatch for any yard movements Perform store deliveries as needed Average of 1-2 deliveries per week. May be more depending on need. Perform multiple vendor pick ups Report to shipping and receiving at any building Fill out the following forms during shift: Shuttle Sheet/ Activity Log turn in at the end of your shift. Collect reefer hours and mileage on each JBH trailer on Mondays The Weekly Time Sheet must be turned in every Friday or Saturday afternoon with JB Hunt Dispatch. Driver will be responsible for moving trucks using day cabs and reefers. Moving trailers to and from the yards and moving in and out of the docks. As well as spotting and fueling trailers within the yard. Checking for trailer damage and broken tandems and reporting it in the tablet or to Management Special Requirements: Shuttle positions are very physical Drivers are expected to climb in and out of the trucks many times per day. There is also a lot of walking, climbing (into and out of equipment), manual hooking and unhooking equipment, raising and lowering landing gear. All of this multiple times per day.
