In addition to the number of activities performed, factors which may affect annualized earnings include training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type and number of days worked each week. This position may be eligible for safety bonuses and incentives based on profitability or performance, as applicable. J.B. Hunt offers the following benefits for full-time positions, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, as may be in effect from time to time: medical benefit, dental benefit, vision benefit, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid time off commensurate with tenure (includes vacation and sick time), two weeks of paid parental leave, and six days with holiday pay. #Regional1 Position Details: Driver will be hauling (hazmat building materials and construction type materials) from (the Bethlehem DC) to customer sites in (NYC, NJ, PA, DE, MD) Dry van deliveries will be live unload. Driver will be required to strap and unstrap for flatbed and curtain side trailers Drivers will not touch freight unless specified beforehand that a customer needs product tailgated. In that instance, freight will be brought to the tailgate with a manual pallet jack. Regional drivers do not deliver into the boroughs, though they do have to drive through/around new York to head up to the northeast Regional Drivers are expected to make deliveries their first day out and drive as far back to the DC/Warehouse as possible in order to pick up the next load the following day. They are expected to work the full 5 days. There are no “off” days during the week. ### Special Requirements Hazmat required within 60 days of hire. Tanker endorsement is preferred. Driver will receive Flatbed and Curtain side trailer training. Will be required to work on average of 1 day per week on other DCS or JBI accounts. Uniforms and steel toed boots and safety vest required and provided by account. Drivers will be required to drive in NYC. ### Truck Information Sleeper truck that are assigned.
