## Job description

Under close supervision, this position is responsible for building real-world experience with recruiting, payroll, employee development, and/or the coordination of HR policies and procedures.

### Key Responsibilities

Assist in screening resumes, application forms, candidates, and/or prospects
- Participate in organizing company events and careers days
- Assist and schedule and confirm interviews with candidates Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks Prepare HR-related reports as needed Address employee queries about benefits (like number of remaining vacation days)
- Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
- Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies
- Perform various data entry and validation as needed

## Qualifications

### Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent OR currently enrolled in a degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college or university Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an office environment Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with resume databases
- Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to use time and resources efficiently and effectively This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.
