In addition to the number of activities completed, factors which may affect annualized earnings include training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type and number of days worked each week. This position may be eligible for safety bonuses and incentives based on profitability or performance, as applicable. J.B. Duties may include, and are not limited to, the following: frequent contact with customer employees and contact with the motoring public at fuel stations and rest stops. ### Flex position Driver will fulfill roles as a local delivery Shuttle Driver/Yard Driver POSITION DETAILS Shuttle: Local position where drivers will shuttle loaded reefer trailers from Michael Foods in Elizabeth, NJ to Americold in South Plainfield, NJ. Trailer may be live unloads or drop and hooks. Driver responsible for shuttling multiple trailer loads to and from both locations, multiple times a day. In the event freight is low, drivers will be required to outsource to other accounts and/or cover other shifts at the account. Automatic daycabs and 53 trailers. Trucks cannot be taken home for time off. Must have personal, reliable transportation to and from work daily Yard: Spot freight around the yard and at offsite yard locations. Responsible for communicating with warehouse personnel to find out what doors will need to be filled / emptied. Responsible for notifying management of all equipment mechanical issues and needs in advance of the load out schedule. Required to cover local loads as needed. Automatic yard drivers will be working in all weather environments. (hot and cold temperatures, rain, snow) YARD POSITIONS ARE VERY PHYSICAL. Drivers are expected to climb in and out of the yard hostlers many, many times per day. There is also a lot if walking, climbing (into and out of equipment), manual hooking and unhooking equipment, raising and lowering landing gear.
