(NOTE: IF THE DRIVER HAS EVER WORKED FOR MEIJER IN THE PAST, PLEASE CONTACT CM FOR APPROVAL TO SCHEDULE) Hazmat required in 90 days (account will reimburse cost of obtaining the endorsement) ### Pay Mixture of local & regional deliveries - 2 pay tiers will be paid Local drivers that run "regional loads" that are 200+ miles will pay out at the regional rate 10% of the loads are regional - WILL STILL MAKE IT HOME EVERYNIGHT! 0.63 CPM Increases to 0.645 CPM at 1 year - Increases to 0.66 CPM at 3 years $20/stop 90% loads are local - less than 200 miles from origin to destination Starting at 0.725 CPM ​​​​Increases to 0.735 CPM at 1 year - Increases to 0.745 CPM at 3 years Drivers will run primarily local freight for an average of 1700 miles per week ​​​​ $30/stop Position Details: Drivers will make daily deliveries to 40 Meijer stores in IL (no downtown Chicago), Northern IN, MI (including Upper Peninsula), OH, and WI. Including shuttles between 2 distribution facilities in Lansing & Pleasant Prairie Drivers will be expected to pickup backhauls back to Lansing, MI (approx 85% drop and hook) Chicago suburb runs are the main activity on the account (but nothing in the city of Chicago), 85-90% of runs go there from both Pleasant Prairie & Lansing Outbound store shipments are drop and hook from the DC and at the delivery locations No Touch Freight Slip seating is only required during mandatory services Trucks will stay at the account during home time Lunch is provided during orientation Join a Team That Values Drivers: This account has a strong track record of success, earning the 2016 Account of the Year Award and placing 3rd in the Midwest Region for Driver Dedicated Performance in 2017.
