Hunt is hiring recent CDL-A graduates for our Apprenticeship Program! Get training and experience by working alongside a specialized J.B. Hunt driver trainer before transitioning to a full-time driving job upon successful completion of the program. If you are a new driver committed to safety, this opportunity is for you! Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have achieved annualized earnings of $95,000! $0.69-$0.71 per mile Stop pay: $35 per stop Detention pay: $15 per hour after 2 hours Tarping pay: $25 per load Spotting pay: $23.50-$26 per hour Off account work: $350 per day Miscellaneous hourly work: $15 per hour Safety Training: $20 per hour New hire training pay: $200 per day Holiday pay: $200 per day Consistent home time and time off Online orientation through our Direct to Work program can limit onsite on-boarding time Eligible for select health benefits after just 30 days of employment 401(k) with company match Paid-time-off accrual from day one Aside from the stability and security of training with an industry leader, Apprenticeship drivers with J.B. No driver unload 10% of loads are drop and hook 90% of loads are live unloads by the receiver Close to 100% preloaded trailers Account manager is based at an office in Joliet, IL Account does not work Thanksgiving or Christmas Day Uniforms are not required Special Requirements: Drivers are required to tarp/strap every load 2 tarps weighing 75lbs dry Will train on Flatbed Truck Info: Automatic trucks Light weight sleeper truck and 48' flatbed light weight spread axel Sleeper size will vary Can take the truck home Driver must have safe and legal spot to park and trailer Account will not reimburse for parking.
