Are you a new CDL graduate looking for truck driver training? Drive with J.B. Hunt’s Apprenticeship Program and receive on-the-job training and experience with an industry leader. Drivers in this program work with an experienced J.B. In addition to the number of activities performed, factors which may affect annualized earnings include, but are not limited to, training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type and number of days worked [each week]. This position may be eligible for safety bonuses and incentives based on profitability or performance, as applicable. J.B. Hunt offers the following benefits for full-time positions, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, as may be in effect from time to time: medical benefit, dental benefit, vision benefit, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid time off commensurate with tenure (includes vacation and sick time), two weeks of paid parental leave, and six days with holiday pay. ### OTHER PAY Holiday: Eligible after one consecutive year of service $210/holiday for the 6 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day & 4th of July) Drivers must be active (not on leave, suspension, terminated) Drivers may be required to work holidays depending on freight volumes. Days surrounding holidays are FCFS. ### PTO Accrual starts on the first day of employment New/rehire – 1.5 hours accrued/week = 7 PTO days/yr 1+ years – 1.54 hours accrued/week = 10 PTO days/yr 6+ years – 2.31 hours accrued/week = 15 PTO days/yr 19+ years – 3.08 hours accrued/week = 20 PTO days/yr POSITION DETAILS: Uniforms required Production requirement: 1900 MPW If this requirement is not met drivers will be transferred to the traditional regional JBI fleet Exceptional drivers can run as much as 2,400+ mpw w/ 48 hours off 100% NO TOUCH FREIGHT freight on Intermodal Chassis/Container 5% of freight is Reefer/TCI freight OPERATING AREA: WI/IL (90%), IA, MN, surrounding states (10%) 95% of loads start/end in Chicago, IL Rails: Mainly Chicago area rails (95%), occasionally St Paul (4%) and St, Louis (1%) ### TRUCK/PARKING DETAILS Drivers will operate mid roof conventional tractors. Avg age of the fleet is 2.5 yrs Automatic Transmission Freightliners.
