## Job description

Based in Reston, VA you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your classroom gained knowledge to contribute to the design of highway/roadway transportation related projects.

You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.

### What you will do
- Support a variety of technical teams in the delivery of quality services, to include engineering design, environmental, quality, and project controls on a mega-design-build transportation project by:
- Utilizing CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and/or models to communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Participating in project meetings
- Complete assignments as assigned (prepare calculations, reports, etc)
- Assist in providing technical and operational support for exposure to:
- Highway engineering principles, standards, and practices;
- Project Delivery for key clients (including the design, environmental, and procurement processes);
- Various Related Highway Disciplines (Stormwater management, green infrastructure, utilities, structures, etc).

### Who you are
- Able to analyze and solve problems
- Able to work with a diverse and integrated team
- Possess excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Able to demonstrate initiative and curiosity to complete assignments on time Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, pptx)

Ideally, you’ll also have:
- 3.0 GPA
- Interest in a career in transportation engineering
