How will you make an impact? The Project Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing; integrated, production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control within the production site. The Project ME will adopt as its goals profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles. What will you do? Project leader – lead and implement projects that will eliminate waste, through the standard Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering process. This will include but is not limited to: Complex - Process Simulation, Operations - Research and Business Model Cost Analysis Verify Time standards prepared within the Engineering Team Update and report key Engineering metrics for assigned customer or area - Drive key process mapping activities within the assigned customer or area - Drive the standardization SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configuration - Assist on preparing quotes for proposed projects within the assigned customer or area - Drive process related activities for New Product Introduction. Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement through the organization Manages cross functional teams to identify, develop, test and implement world class manufacturing equipment, systems, tools, procedures and processes. Provides support and technical assistance to new facility and/or Workcell startups. Raw material delivery process, storage and line feed systems. WIP management, sizing and buffer storage systems. How will you get there? ### Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Understanding and application of broad range of manufacturing and industrial engineering tools (ie. - Work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research, etc.) - Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous improvements and cost reduction programs - Strong communication skills Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or similar field career - 8+ years of experience in managing technical engineering teams and cross functional participation.
