[Apply on IQVIA’s careers site →](https://iqvia.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/IQVIA/job/Bratislava-Slovakia/Accounts-Receivable-Accountant_R1554289) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [IQVIA](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/iqvia/) / Accounts Receivable Accountant ## Job description ### Job Overview Provide technical and general accounting services in accordance with IQVIA Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley rules and financial reporting requirements of the business unit (e.g. local GAAP). ### Essential Functions - Month end close, blackline - Compliance control - Order and contract maintenance (changes to prices, users, data period etc.) - Billing - Revenue recognition - Process accruals and other templates such as revenue/product/client transfers - Upload information to Blackline - Preparation of required docs for month end close for local finance teams - Attendance of internal training sessions - Organization of monthly calls with local office - Maintain country specific documentation needed for processing and keep them updated - Preparation of samples for SOX audits - Perform other duties as assigned. ### Qualifications - Commercial studies/school or commercial apprenticeship - 1-year experience in finance, administrative, or customer support - Tool knowledge – SAP, PeopleSo Finance, Oracle – nice to have - Fluent in English (oral and written) is a MUST - Fluent knowledge of German OR French OR Italian OR Spanish is an asset - Good team player - Service and client oriented - Open to take over new work and can easily adapt to changes - Positive, friendly and flexible - Punctual and accountable - Efficiency oriented - Solution focused - Ability to exercise judgment within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. - Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients. ### Essential Functions - Month end close, blackline - Compliance control - Billing - Revenue recognition - Upload information to Blackline - Attendance of internal training sessions - Organization of monthly calls with local office - Preparation of samples for SOX audits - Perform other duties as assigned. ### Qualifications - Commercial studies/school or commercial apprenticeship - Good team player - Service and client oriented - Positive, friendly and flexible - Punctual and accountable - Efficiency oriented - Solution focused - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
