[Apply on Intuitive’s careers site →](https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/Intuitive/744000155025881-information-systems-engineer) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Intuitive](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/intuitive/) / Information Systems Engineer ## Job description ### Primary Function of Position Our digital solutions provide technology to enable easier capturing, archiving, live streaming and sharing of clinical video and other data around diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, while also allowing for complete integration with electronic medical records (EMR) and picture archival and communications (PACS) systems. We are seeking a highly motivated technical expert to install and support our digital products and to ensure service agreements and warranty obligations are fulfilled to the highest satisfaction. This person shall thrive to exceed customer expectations and maintain customer satisfaction at the highest possible level. The position will be located in Italy or Spain (remote setup), with a focus on Italy/Spain, but will also serve any other markets as per current needs. ### Roles and Responsibilities Verification for remote connection and system installation - Perform on-premise or cloud-based digital product installations as well as server, network and services configurations - Performs physical system installations, when needed (exceptional) - Supports digital features activation of da Vinci® systems - Provides technical support to customers and other Intuitive employees. - Performs maintenance inspections and upgrades/updates as required to ensure systems meet performance specifications - Troubleshoots and repairs Intuitive digital products and associated equipment failures - Maintains accurate configurations of installed base - Supports tradeshow activity Providing remote support to Intuitive Field Engineers - Maintains up-to-date documentation, including but not limited to; Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, Complaint tickets management etc. Provides excellent customer support by timely addressing reported issues Provides feedback to improve processes and efficiencies ## Qualifications ### Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Minimum: 4-7 years of field service experience with medical systems preferred. Proven track record of troubleshooting medical software systems. Good written and verbal communication skills – English and language spoken in at least the countries Italy or Spain, ideally both Windows Operating System and server system administrator. Professional installation and wiring of PC hardware in multiple configurations (wall, boom, mobile cart). Proven administrative and record keeping skills. Strong analysis, troubleshooting and debugging skills for a wide range of issues with the area of specialization Ability to work independently and purposefully from remote. Effective self-management with moderate supervision. ### Preferred Hardware and Software installation and configuration. Healthcare and Medical system installation. LDAP configuration and troubleshooting. SQL system administrator and troubleshooting. Good knowledge of core IT technologies (e.g., network systems, operating systems, databases, access controls, IT operations, etc.). ### Additional notes and physical requirements Ability to work from remote. Able to enter surgical and other patient care areas. Ability to travel up to 25%. Some short notice travel may be required.
