Job Description: The Role and Impact As a Manufacturing Technician Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient equipment setup, monitoring production workflows, and conducting quality checks. Through hands-on experience, you will develop technical skills in troubleshooting and optimizing machinery, laying the foundation for a successful career in semiconductor manufacturing.

This internship provides the opportunity to contribute directly to Intel's operational success while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Business group Intel Foundry is dedicated to delivering innovative semiconductor manufacturing solutions that drive technological advancement and support Intel's broader goals. ### Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Monitor production processes to maintain performance metrics and adhere to quality benchmarks.
- Conduct routine quality checks and accurately document inspection results.
- Support troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize operational downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize workflows and enhance production efficiency.
- Learn, apply, and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure and compliant workspace.
- Participate in hands-on projects to develop technical expertise and deepen understanding of manufacturing systems.

### Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a recognised third-level institution, pursuing a NFQ level 6 or NFQ level 7 qualification in Engineering, Science, Technology, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in manufacturing processes, production systems, or related fields.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, perform tasks accurately, and document findings effectively.
- Readiness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

### Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment or workflows gained through coursework, internships, or hands-on projects.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across functions.

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. The minimum Annual Salary for this job which could be performed in Ireland is: €28,800.00 The job posting reflects the minimum base compensation for this role. Our standard internship rates are aligned with the specific job role and degree level. As part of our total compensation approach, the final offer may also include additional pay components and benefits.
