Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and testing facilities, our integrated plant ensures precision manufacturing and rigorous quality control for every pump produced. ### Job Summary As a Purchase Engineer, you will drive the end-to-end procurement process, from converting purchase requisitions (PR) to managing purchase orders (PO), with a core focus on catalogue parts (limited to pumps). Your primary objective is to maintain operational efficiency by ensuring 100% Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) and high-quality standards. You will be responsible for aggressive cost negotiations, suppliers’ management also for seamless management of goods receipt processes and ensuring payments. Experience in project procurement preferred. ### Responsibilities Responsible for PR to PO conversion and tracking PO s to ensure timely delivery. Responsible for sourcing, development, pricing and supply of catalogue parts –that include Motors, Gearboxes, geared motors, Safety valves, mechanical seals, control panels, filter, coolers, instruments etc Ensure supplier OTD and Quality rating to meet departmental objectives to keep inventory intact Monitoring commodity / market trends to arrive at the price corrections To identify alternative suppliers / process to arrive at better pricing and deliveries Responsible for end-to-end transactions till part acceptance and payment Engaging with the right OEMs / dealers in arriving at the right price and meeting the required delivery with clear understanding of the customer specifications and its adherence Basic Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering (preferably FT) 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing Industry (preferably from OEM’s / project / site procurement) ### Key competencies Manufacturing process and costing knowledge – clear understanding on the specifications in the catalogue parts Experience in handling OE suppliers with understanding on pricing stragety Effective communication with suppliers towards the achievement of business goals Proficiency in MS office / ERP tools. ### What we Offer We are all owners of the company!
