Based in Bradford, we develop products entirely in-house, from concept and engineering through machining, assembly, testing and aftermarket support. Our solutions support bulk transport, specialised vehicle applications, onboard power generation and the growing e-mobility sector. As our markets continue to evolve, we're investing in new technologies and looking for talented engineers to help shape future products. ### Job Summary The Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of new products, as well as the delivery of Innovation to Value (i2V) initiatives across the Ingersoll Rand Transport Solutions (IRTS) product portfolio. The role has equal accountability for: Developing new products and product enhancements that meet customer, performance, quality, and regulatory requirements Driving engineering‑led value creation and cost reduction across existing and new products By working across the full product lifecycle, the Design Engineer ensures that cost, manufacturability, standardisation, and customer value are embedded into designs from concept through industrialisation and into series production.
