[Apply on ING Group’s careers site →](https://careers.ing.com/en/job/warsaw/transaction-monitoring-investigator-with-german/3121/46560300160) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [ING Group](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/ing-group/) / Transaction Monitoring Investigator with German ## Job description ING Hubs Poland is hiring! ### The expected salary for this position 7100 - 8500 PLN The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations. ### We are looking for you if You have minimum of 2 years experience within AML transaction monitoring field, You have proficiency in conducting effective transaction monitoring investigations, you have developed understanding of how and why money laundering, terrorist financing and tax evasion are executed and you can recognize the differences between them and their impact, You have attention to detail, ability to analyse large amount of customer data and identify unusual activities on clients’ accounts to draw appropriate conclusions, in order to prevent potential money laundering and/or terrorism financing, You have skills to clearly express your conclusions based on data gathered and to present them in a concise narrative/report form; you are decisive, You complete tasks and achieve results in an efficient, timely and high-quality manner, You are showing openness to change in order to work effectively when faced with new information, a changing situation and/or environment, You show proactive attitude, propose ideas to improve the process and are open to participate in additional initiatives, You are a real team player and appreciate cooperation, You are fluent in English, reading and writing, Intermediate and above in German You'll get extra points for: Experience in reputable financial services organizations, Professional certification (CAMS, ICA or equivalent), Coaching skills, training skills and ability to giving constructive feedback. ### Your responsibilities Risk-based investigations on transaction monitoring alerts and cases Analysis of customer and transaction information Conducting background research Documenting investigations Initiating and implementing process improvements Information about the squad: The main responsibility of the Specialist AML Investigator is to review ING customers’ transactional activity to detect and prevent money laundering and/or terrorism financing and serve as Subject Matter Expert to their teammates on AML and TM-related topics, as well as actively participate in additional initiatives, such as update of the procedures, quality check of colleagues’ work, trainings, administrative tasks, etc. We will ensure that you are properly trained – every new joiner starts with a few weeks-long comprehensive training program, that is later followed by on-the-job trainings. What distinguishes ING is the dedicated training program, available for every permanent employee in Transaction Monitoring, prepared by ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists), the most prestigious organization in the AML world. The three step certification program consists of Anti-Money Laundering Foundations, Sanctions Foundations and Certified Transaction Monitoring Associate.
