[Apply on Infineon Technologies’s careers site →](https://jobs.infineon.com/careers/job/563808971732754) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Infineon Technologies](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/infineon-technologies/) / FAE - Power Device ## Job description Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role The field application engineer of I2 is responsible to support customers in the areas of Infineon products and mainly support Power Devices(Discrete IGBT/IGBT modules/IPM/ Driver IC etc.) in various applications especially related to – Industrial power supplies, New Energy (Solar &Wind), Solid state transformer etc. - Promote Infineon IFX device (mainly Discrete IGBT/IGBT modules/Driver IC etc.) in customer’s projects, get design in and design win. - Resolve technical problems in customer designs and platforms and build up good reputation for Infineon. - Co-work with Sales and Marketing to identify customers demand and promote Infineon solutions. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed - Good knowledge of devices - IGBTs and MOSFETs in Solar/ESS Inverters, AIDC, Motor Drive, industrial power supplies, UPS systems and etc. - Deep technical know-how and hands-on experience on discrete IGBT /IGBT modules, for example: Loss calculation, thermal evaluation, Switching behavior, SOA - Good understanding and development experience about Driver IC or Driver circuit. - Good understanding of different topologies like, half bridge, full bridge, 3-level. - System understanding of industrial power supplies/Solar/Wind related application. - Basic knowledge of using analog and digital circuits is required. - Basic marketing or business understanding. ### Contact lucy.shi@infineon.cn #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
