This role ensures accurate, timely and reliable financial reporting across Australia, New Zealand and an overseas subsidiary. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions, and helping drive continuous improvement across a global Fortune 300 organisation. The role is for a fixed term of 6 months. The successful candidate can be based in Melbourne or Auckland. ### What You Will Do Lead month-end close activities, including balance sheet, P&L, and corporate reporting to the US. Maintain the general ledger, journals, reconciliations, provisions, and key accounting estimates. Partner with Divisional Controllers, Business Analysts and Finance leaders to analyse business performance. Support payroll processing, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for an overseas subsidiary. Assist internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ITW policies and reporting standards. Drive process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and business insight. ### What You Bring A CA or CPA qualification. 5+ years financial accounting experience within a complex or matrix environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, month-end processes, and financial reporting. Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience; Pronto experience is advantageous. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across functions.
