## Job description

### Job Description

Hobart is seeking a dependable part-time Lab Assistant to support testing activities in a moderate-paced work environment. This position primarily involves general labor and support duties to help ensure efficient lab operations.

### Responsibilities
- Assist lab technicians with testing and related support tasks
- Perform general labor and housekeeping duties as needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Qualifications: Mechanical or electrical experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a moderate-paced environment and follow instructions Requirements: Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes are required
- Demonstrated reliability, strong attendance, and a solid work ethic
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience in a laboratory support environment.
