Responsible for development of accounts and/or generating new business from existing accounts. Pursue sales leads and visit customer sites within assigned territory defined by geographic area, industry or product/service segment. Execute trainings, identify new opportunities/leads and generate sales reports. ### In this role Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales/training goals. Leverage other sales channels (distributors) to maximize sales and customer service objectives. Develop and support customer’s training processes to improve productivity and ensure that goals are met. Analyze the characteristics and trends of the local market and help define customer needs for new or modified products and services. ### What you need to succeed Intensive travel required Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine Strong communications skills and public speaking Sales ability / persuasiveness. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly, build and maintain relationships. Intermediate to advanced English Strong analysis and problem-solving skills Desirable experience with working with distributors within diagnostic industry and experience in clinical veterinary practice Candidates location: Mexico city, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tijuana, Cancún or Merida Why IDEXX: We’re proud of the work we do, because our work matters.
