About the role As a dealer in Debt Capital Market, you would engage with fund managers / dealers of institutional investors, including Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Banks, Pension funds, Corporate treasuries etc. for sell-down of corporate bonds in Primary and Secondary market. Developing and implementing hedging strategies to mitigate risk is also part of the profile. The individual should also possess in-depth knowledge of Indian and Global markets and should be adept at fundamental and technical analysis. ### Key Responsibilities Collaboration The candidate would engage with fund managers / dealers of institutional investors, including Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Banks, Pension funds, Corporate treasuries etc. for sell-down of corporate bonds in Primary and Secondary market. Customised Solutions To handle the bidding process for private placement of debt issuance, Preparation of deal documents like Information Memorandum, Term Sheets, investment rationale etc. Ability to comprehend various regulatory guidelines Sound understanding of regulatory guidelines of SEBI & RBI related to DCM and investments in Fixed Income securities. 360-degree banking Understanding of the investment pattern of Insurance Companies, Provident Funds and analysis of Primary and Secondary traded data, supply pipelines, Corporate bond spreads and tracking flows/AUMs of investors on regular basis. ### Qualifications & Skills Educational Qualification MBA/CA/CFA with 4-8 years of experience in fixed income sales, or dealing in bond market with understanding of bond pricing and costing models. Experience in working in fixed income instruments, or having prior experience in debt market borrowings with knowledge of SEBI regulations would be preferred. Negotiation Ability to influence and negotiate with clients at all levels. ### Technical Skills Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills and basic understanding of financials of a company and bond mathematics. Soft skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. About the Business Group Markets Group (MG) provides treasury solutions to the customers in the corporate ecosystem consisting of large, mid and small enterprises. Treasury solutions consist of forex services, derivatives, structured products, interest rate hedging solutions amongst others. The team works closely with the Corporate Relationship teams and provide solutions suited to the needs of the customers. These solutions are embedded through the life cycle of corporate relationships across working capital, lending, payment solutions, supply chain finance, structured trade etc. The team works closely with customers to help them manage their financial risks with the right suite of products and solutions. Experience in Banking Knowledge is not a necessary condition to apply, it would be an added advantage. We require someone who has an up to date understanding of RBI and other regulatory guidelines, Basel regulations, Liquidity management, Asset Liability Management etc. Can a fresher apply for the role in Debt Capital Market? MBA or Graduates with 1 to 5 years of experience is preferred. Prior experience in DCM, WDM desk or Institutional sales with exposure to debt market borrowings & knowledge of SEBI Debt market regulations, would be an added advantage.
