### Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer: Cloud FullStack, you will develop and deploy cloud-based applications using microservices design patterns, integrating front-end, back-end, and middleware components. You will utilize expertise in multiple layers of application development to deliver efficient and secure cloud-based solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain Microservices-based applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store and manage data.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

### Required technical and professional expertise

Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and database technologies, with a passion for building robust enterprise applications.

### Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+. and React
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, Gradle.
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ.
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth2, and application security.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps. Preferred technical and professional experience

### Cloud Security Knowledge
- Exposure to implementing cloud security measures, including network security and access control, to ensure the integrity of cloud-based applications.

### Advanced DevOps Tools
- Experience working with advanced DevOps tools and methodologies to optimize the development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications.

### Multi-Cloud Environments
- Exposure to designing, building, and maintaining multi-cloud environments, focusing on uptime, scalability, and automation. IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
