[Apply on Hyundai Motor’s careers site →](https://careers-americas.hyundai.com/hmgma/job/Ellabell-Quality-Assurance-Engineering-Specialist-WiringRestraints-GA-31308/1419131600/) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Hyundai Motor](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/hyundai-motor/) / Quality Assurance Engineering Specialist - Wiring/Restraints ## Job description JOB TITLE Quality Assurance Improvement ### WHAT YOU WILL DO - Develop, update, and maintain detailed reports for accurate communication of field quality status (Before sales, 3M, 12M, 36M, WM, CPU, and DPU) for management. - Respond promptly to data requests from supporting departments and cross-functional teams to expedite quality improvement activities. - Inform the responsible Improvement Specialist & AM of emerging quality issues based on detailed warranty claim analysis and follow-up on improvement. - Coordinate and update improvement database to document improvement activities, implementation dates, and current status of quality issues. - Analyze field claim data & recall/campaign issue and make necessary input/actions. - Review warranty field claims for correct processing, request changes as necessary. - Make EWR (Early Warning Report) for launched models to report and share to HMGMA. - Meet all other requirements as assigned. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. Responsibilities may include: - Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 pounds) - Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents - Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed When in Production Area (if applicable): - Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations - Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25–30 pounds) - Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment - Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) - Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively - Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required - Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly - Consistent and punctual attendance - Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team-oriented environment ### FLSA Classification - Exempt/Salary HMGMA is an equal opportunity employer.
