The Role Researches, prepares and produces electronic media (computer interactive CDs, interactive websites, audiovisual, film, video) for training, sales, promotion, documentation, and other communicative purposes for both internal and external audiences. Consults with user to determine appropriate medium, creates product concepts, plans production, and produces media to include scriptwriting, location scouting, shot selection, video shooting, tape logging, music and sound effect selection, computer graphics, animation, digital effect creation, final editing and tape duplication.

May act as liaison with vendors ensuring scheduling, costs and quality requirements are met.
- Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications: NNS Apprentice School graduate Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate Associate's Degree or other formal
- 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience

### Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in use of all types of video cameras, knowledge of lighting and audio requirements for studio and field production, and proficiency in digital editing systems.

### With extensive experience
- Producing video programs to train personnel in job skills, safety, machine operations, procedures and processes.
- Developing scripts and shot lists by observation of processes and input of content experts.
- Capable of turn-key video production from initial proposal to final product.
- Ability to produce quality work products that have a professional polished design
- Ability to manage a project from concept to finished product.
