We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Client Management. In this role you will: - Be responsible for profitable growth in the health portfolio in line with top line and bottom-line business targets - Responsible for underwriting business cases in accordance with established underwriting guidelines to achieve overall portfolio profitability - Identifying and taking actions to mitigate any insurance risk; Ongoing compliance with external and internal guidelines, and maintaining supporting documentation to satisfy audit requirements - Prepare new business and renewal quotations within turnaround times; Provide timely and quality responses to internal and external customers. - Ongoing contribution to developing and refining existing processes, service levels, underwriting guidelines and policy contract wording; Delivering reporting for monitoring of portfolio and service levels - Coach and mentor 1 or 2 Junior underwriters - Managing relationships with key international brokers to growth client portfolio - Developing and executing strategies to grow profitable businesses and retain a healthy health portfolio. ### To be successful you will need - Relevant experience in the health space and managing brokers - University degree with relevant insurance papers (HI, M5, M9) - MS Office application proficiency - Underwriting skills, Key Account Manager skills, and customer/intermediary relationship management - Meticulous, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Superior analytical skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and strong business acumen The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
