[Apply on Howmet Aerospace’s careers site →](https://fa-exty-saasfaprod1.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1/job/119786) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Howmet Aerospace](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/howmet-aerospace/) / Plastic Injector, 2nd Shift ## Responsibilities ### Howmet Aerospace/Tempcraft Location 3960 S Marginal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44114 Shift: Monday – Friday, 2 p.m. - 10 pm Salary: $17 - $20/hr.; starting at $17 Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Plastic Injector position is accountable for: This position is responsible for operating a plastic injection machine to produce a variety of parts Responsible for quality of the pieces you shoot Meeting department production needs Responsible for showing the supervisor first piece you shoot on each setup Responsible for parameters (cycle, temperature, pressure, weigh feeder) set in these machines Notify Leader or Manufacturing Mgr. if set up or operation of machine is mechanically difficult or other problems exist Visually inspect parts for various defects While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing PPE (personal protection equipment). Following all basic safety precautions will reduce risk of potential injury. This position requires anywhere from light to moderate physical activity, such as walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time, as well as some lifting. ### Benefits Competitive wages Flexibility with shift starting time Clean, air-conditioned work facility (even on factory floor) 401k savings plan includes 3% of your eligible compensation, and a match of your deferred pre-tax savings dollar-for-dollar up to 6% of your base pay Tobacco-Free Credit Medical, Dental, Disability, Vision, and Life Insurance available Vacation Eligibility ## Qualifications ### Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required) ### Preferred Qualifications - Ability to lift 40 pounds - Minimum of 1-year experience operating plastic injection machine ### General Manufacturing Experience - Ability to effectively work AND communicate as part of a cell team This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
