Our vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts enable the next generation of quieter, cleaner and more fuel-efficient aerospace engines. Able to supply more than 90% of structural and rotating aerospace engine components. ## Responsibilities Post Cast Process Owner - Job Band 25 Job Summary: This position will be responsible for ensuring that the post cast processes are performed in compliance with the methods, materials, and equipment specifications as detailed in the Corporate Post Cast Manual, associated MSAT, Nadcap requirements, and customer specifications. ### Essential Functions Modify and/or approve work instructions (Activity Instructions and Product Criteria) for the post cast manufacturing processes, such as shell removal, gate removal, machining, surface preparation, finishing, and dimensional. Responsible to monitor post cast processes and ensure that they are stable, sustainable, and in control. Perform regular MSAT audits on post cast processes. Determination of root cause of any deviations from critical processes, and development of timely reaction plans to correct the deviations. Work with cross-functional teams and/or individually to identify and correct causes of scrap and rework, and to identify improvements and cost reductions in post cast processes. Assist with development and implementation of new materials and techniques. Assist with training of operators for new methods or instructions. Perform data retrieval and data analysis using Excel, PowerBI, and other software systems. Flexibility to work off-shift hours and weekends for occasional training or technical support. Other duties may be requested to support Process Owner team. ### Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate and interact with shop floor and management personnel effectively. Ability to organize, manage time, and prioritize multiple tasks. Able to work in a self-directed or team environment. Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Forward thinker – must have the ability to innovate when the opportunity is presented. ## Qualifications ### Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
