## Responsibilities

Strategy support --understands plant, campus, segment and enterprise strategy and prioritizes efforts accordingly; quantifies prospective interventions using common metrics; uses analytics to improve stakeholders’ ability to identify and achieve toward established hoshin.

Forecast oriented --comprehends how both project and system-oriented decisions and interventions scale into the future; analyzes trends, anticipates business needs based on partner input and prioritizes focal points accordingly. Persuasion and influence --is objectively persuasive based on data, and interpersonally persuasive based on the ability to create trust and emphasize common goals; overcomes skepticism and invites hypothesis testing; understands the culture and how to accomplish things within it, yet has the courage to challenge existing methods.

System creation --standardizes data use to create structure and systems of information and access; makes recommendations that, over time, alter existing systems or create new systems. Measurement implementation --collaborates with stakeholders to create measurement for interventions; tracks effectiveness as a guiding standard; learns information and outcomes that might initially be unfamiliar or outside incumbent expertise; maximizes and proves returns on investment at local and global levels.

Builder/creator --has an entrepreneurial spirit to build a position/department/practice that grows and provides increasing benefits over time; enjoys the challenge of creating possibilities and proving concepts; believes in the prospective benefits and wants to scale them. Translator and storyteller --acts as liaison between information and application; synthesizes information and conveys it in the best form for stakeholder understanding and use; creates narratives from numbers, creating clear and engaging ideal state scenarios toward which the enterprise can strive.

### Job Responsibilities

This role serves as the plant’s primary resource for the following operational systems and functions: Serve as the plant’s Power BI owner; build, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards tracking production rate, yield, downtime, scrap, and quality. Serve as the site’s subject matter expert and primary user for OHCMS (One Howmet Casting Manufacturing System), Howmet’s internal manufacturing execution and lot traceability system, act as backup to the Lot Trace Administrator and maintain lot integrity across production operations.

Support inventory management functions including data pulls, reconciliation support, and reporting tied to production and supply chain accuracy. Pull, clean, and consolidate production data from MES systems including OHCMS, establish and maintain data standards and governance protocols for site-level data. Perform cost modeling in support of manufacturing engineering and operations decisions. Translate raw operational data into actionable insights for frontline supervisors and plant leadership (this role bridges the floor and the boardroom, not just the boardroom).

Analyze and disseminate data to relevant audiences. Make recommendations based on synthesis and interpretation of data. Align recommendations to business outcomes. Serve as link between information and application functions. Create and monitor standardized systems of gathering, understanding and sharing data. Improve performance from job level to enterprise adoption and adaptation.

## Qualifications

### Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 2 years' experience in a similar role. ​ Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

### Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience manipulating and applying advanced statistical analysis methods to real-world data. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics from an accredited institution. Prior experience with Howmet, Arconic, or comparable aerospace tier-one manufacturing systems strongly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience with practical application of analytic statistical tools. In depth knowledge of statistical software packages.

Proven success manipulating and applying advanced statistical analysis methods to real-world data. Self-starter, strong interpersonal skills and ability to function and drive to excel within a team environment. Strong written and oral communication skills, project planning ability, and ability to effectively use MS Office applications. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on Power BI development experience, not familiarity alone.

Demonstrated experience with MES or ERP-type shop floor systems (OHCMS, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Ability to serve as a system backup and cross-train others on data platforms and lot traceability tools. Experience supporting inventory accuracy and production data reconciliation in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
