## Job description

THE FUTURE IS WHAT WE MAKE IT Software Engineer (Building Operation Center) Singapore, Singapore Help keep Honeywell’s connected building services reliable, responsive, and operational. You will monitor Forge cloud applications, investigate service cases, and partner with Field Service Professionals to restore service and identify opportunities that improve customer outcomes. THE OPPORTUNITY In this role, you will support the availability and performance of cloud-based services through disciplined monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your work will help improve service responsiveness, system reliability, and the customer experience.

### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor Forge cloud applications remotely, assessing system health, connectivity, and service performance.
- Triage and analyse Forge-generated service cases, determine the appropriate next action, and collaborate with Field Service Professionals to resolve issues efficiently.
- Use Forge data to identify potential Spot opportunities and communicate clear, actionable insights to Field Service Professionals.
- Investigate connectivity and performance issues, track them through resolution, and escalate when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service reliability and customer outcomes.
- Provide structured feedback to back-end development teams to support product and platform improvement.
- Maintain clear operational records and contribute to consistent service-level performance. YOU MUST HAVE
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Controls Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based applications.
- Working knowledge of a major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud-monitoring tools and practices.
- Experience collaborating with field service teams or comparable operational groups.
- Experience using logging, alerting, and incident-management systems to support timely issue resolution.
- Experience with Building Management Systems and Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems. WE VALUE
- Ability to identify energy waste or sub-optimal HVAC operation and recommend practical improvements.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for cloud environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a distributed team environment.
