[Apply on Honeywell International’s careers site →](https://ibqbjb.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1/job/156529) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Honeywell International](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/honeywell-international/) / Field Service Engineer – Grid Entry Units ## Job description We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer – Grid Entry Units to join us at Honeywell, in the UK, where you will be responsible for maintenance and commissioning of predominately Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at our client sites across the UK, undertaking planned preventative maintenance or troubleshooting issues and to work on projects of new installations on required sites. This is a field-based role, with country wide travel as required with occasional overnight stays. Honeywell Industrial Automation enables our customers to run safer and more efficient operations. We Enable our Customers to Enhance the Safety, Sustainability, Resilience and Productivity of their People, Plants, and Assets. ## Responsibilities Manage the annual servicing of the facility, including condition ‑ based servicing and PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance), and submit full job reports. Test the Grid Entry Unit to ensure it is safe and functioning correctly before sign ‑ off, and provide hands ‑ on training and knowledge to new users/operators. Investigate issues to identify faults and perform system analysis, carrying out replacements as required. Engage with clients to understand issues, make observations, suggest improvements, and provide recommendations. Meet customers’ needs via remote support as part of an on-call rota ## Qualifications Previous experience within industrial servicing or controls systems - Solid analytical/problem solving skills and technical skills with a high level of attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written Gas industry experience or HND/HNC level qualifications, experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries would be advantageous Good team player with a willingness to learn Our offer A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity and innovation Market specific training and on-going personal development Competitive salary and generous benefits including incentive reward scheme We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
