[Apply on Honeywell International’s careers site →](https://ibqbjb.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1/job/159453) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Honeywell International](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/honeywell-international/) / Project Engr I (m/f/d) ## Job description We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer I to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will implement engineering solutions, under supervision, for: Process Control, Safety Instrumented Systems, Human Machine Interface, Hardware Design on industrial process automation projects in industries like: Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Specialty Chemicals, etc. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days work from home model. We are committed to the highest standard in everything we do! ## Responsibilities Key responsibilities Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule and budget) are in place prior to commencing work. Executes work assignment under supervision at the appropriate standards and quality: Control: DCS (C300 controller, Control Edge PLCs, HPM) implementation. ### Safety SIS (ESD, BMS, F&G) logic implementation using Safety Manager and Fail Safe Controller. ### HMI Creation of HMI displays, HMI dynamic and static shapes / objects and faceplates, migration of displays from old releases to the new ones, etc. ### Hardware DCS, SIS, marshalling, PLC, Server, Network, System cabinet drawings, I/O allocation, System Architecture, Power and Heat calculation, loop drawings, etc. ### System Server/Station Configuration/Administration in Physical or Virtual environment; Networking Configuration (Switches, Routers) Reports progress and technical problems and / or changes to project lead engineer or Project Manager. Responsible for the implementation of assigned projects. Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group. ## Qualifications Key skills and qualifications Bachelor / Master of Science Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. ### Preferred specializations Automation and Computers, Informatics, Mathematics, Cybernetics, Electronics. 0-2 years of project experience in the industry. Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English (Min B2/C1), any other European language skill is a plus (French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, German). Knowledge of Industrial Automation technologies; PLC Programming/HMI Programming/ Electrical Design; System administration and configuration. Willingness to travel for project execution and commissioning activities minimum 50% of time.
