## Job description

As an Accounting Specialist here at Honeywell, you will manage and execute accounting tasks, maintain financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. You will report directly to our Accounting Specialist and you’ll work out of our San Luis Potosi location on a Hybrid work schedule. As an Accounting Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, which is essential for informed decision-making and strategic planning. Your attention to detail and expertise in accounting will help maintain compliance with financial regulations and contribute to the overall financial stability and success of the company.

## Responsibilities
- Process invoices and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist in monthend and yearend closing processes
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information

## Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite WE VALUE Portuguese proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
